About The 1st Speaker: Tanaka Chikosi, MBA Wharton (Google)
Tanaka has over eight years of escalating experience in venture capital, technology, and management consulting. As a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager at Google, he leads cross-functional teams, driving $100M+ incremental revenue in three years for Google’s Digital Ads business. He excels in quantitative analysis and complex problem-solving to deliver data-driven insights and achieve business objectives. Tanaka is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Luminary Capital, investing in AI-driven startups across various sectors, with a focus on African enterprises. He mentors African entrepreneurs, providing strategic advice to support their growth. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a dual Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Financial Economics from the University of Virginia.
About The 2nd Speaker: Yinshan Loh, MBA Cambridge (BCG)
Yinshan earned her MBA with Distinction (top 5%) from the University of Cambridge, supported by prestigious scholarships such as the British Chevening Award and the Forté Fellowship. She was recognized as one of BCG's top candidates in Asia and served as a BCG Women’s MBA Fellow & Honorarium Winner. Post-MBA, Yinshan's professional trajectory includes roles as a management consultant at BCG, central banker in Singapore, board director, social entrepreneur, start-up advisor, and lead researcher in behavioral economics. She has been the assistant secretary of Singapore’s national Monetary and Investment policy ministerial committee, consulted for the central bank and government of Georgia on Fintech development, and co-founded an award-winning social sector consultancy in Southeast Asia.
About The 3rd Speaker: Monique Malcolm-Hay, MBA Stanford GSB (Rethink Education VC)
Monique is a Stanford GSB MBA and MA in Education graduate originally from London in the UK. Prior to attending the GSB, Monique worked at PwC, starting in the firm's Deals practice, where she worked on large insolvencies. This led her to pursue an international secondment in Dubai where I had the opportunity to work in PwC's Emerging Technology Lab. She then returned to the UK and became the Global Program Manager for PwC's “New world. New skills.” program which focused on looking at how we can upskill and reskill the global workforce to prepare them for the future of work. She is now a VC Investor working and living in New York. Over the past couple of years, Monique coached 200+ PwC staff from Associate to Partner level on how to best articulate their achievements. She subsequently won the McKinsey 2021 Achievement award and was ranked as a Top 5 Future Leader by senior executives across the UK. Monique is also the chair and co-founder of NGA, a non-profit that supports Millennials and Gen Zs in their careers, attracting 3,000+ followers.
